This is My APM Experiences, a newsletter about thoughts from product management. But from a Junior. In a startup. Pre-Product-Market-Fit. In Germany.

In this blog, I want to demonstrate how exciting this role can be (or at my current company, Building Radar, is 😉) to aspiring students and graduates and encourage them to start engaging with this career path. I myself didn’t expect Product Management to be a job that versatile and wasn’t even aware that my master studies - I changed from economics as my bachelor into a master in business informatics - were already preparing me for it the best possible way.

There are just so many exciting dimensions to the discipline. However, a lot of the content about Product online is from seasoned Product Managers in large tech companies. Their operations, processes and challenges do not only differ greatly from what startups are tackling, neither does it voice what the junior PM is working on/ improving/ struggling with.
